First of all, lemme confess something right here and now: I suck at drawing guns. Seriously, I just... they never quite look right when I draw them. Okay, with that outta the way...

This picture is to commemorate one of my favorite Japanese voice-actors: Toshio Furukawa! I know him best as the voice of Ataru Moroboshi from Urusei Yatsura!

Besides voicing Ataru, though, many also know him as the voice of Piccolo from Dragon Ball (I shouldn't have to mention this, but yes, all 3 parts. In the original, in Z, and in GT). He also voiced General Blue, but Piccolo is a longer running character (and he's a green Dhalsim dude), so I chose him for this picture to represent that series.

And, of course, there's that master thief, Arsène Lupin III. Okay, okay, most of the time Lupin was voiced by Yasuo Yamada, but Furukawa did voice him once, in The Fuma Conspiracy. Even though it was only once, it's definitely worth mentioning. I mean, come on! The voice of Ataru doing Lupin? It just fits too perfectly to not have to take notice of its awesomeness!

So, this is my tribute to Toshio Furukawa. All of it was done by me in Photoshop (I mention that since I've been asked before where I get my backgrounds... they're done by me. ).

Also, I'd like to have some honorable mentions, even if I didn't draw them. Furukawa has also voiced William B. Baxter in Eureka SeveN, as well as Shin in Hokuto no Ken (aka Fist of the North Star), and Portgas D. Ace in One Piece.

Fun facts: When Back to the Future was brought to Japan, Toshio Furukawa voiced over the character of George McFly! Additionally, he was also the voice of Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo dub and the voice of Ponch in the CHiPs dub.
