This is an updated version of an old drawing of mine, now in color!

It took a little longer to finish than I thought, but here it is! This is all the heroes, rivals, and so forth from every handheld Pokémon game to date that's currently out.

Well, with this done and out of the way, I'll be working on those requests next! :D

That's one way of looking at it, but I think the real answer is that they don't want to let go of Ash.

The only other male trainer that got into the anime besides the Kanto male trainer (whom Ash is based off of), is the Johto male trainer. He and the Johto girl trainer were adapted into the anime, but only for three episodes of Pokémon Chronicles.

The Hoenn male trainer also had brief cameos in some of the movies, but they're "blink and you'll miss it" cameos.
